THE METAMORPHOSIS OF MALAGAZZETTA
We are establishing La Malagazzetta APS — a Social Promotion Association, the legal form that allows a group of people to pursue cultural and social objectives in a transparent, structured, and non-profit manner. This does not mean that La Malagazzetta is becoming "official" in the bureaucratic sense of the word. It means exactly the opposite: that we are taking the project off the shoulders of a few people and placing it in the hands of a community. The original editorial team — the people who built this project from the very beginning — will form the founding core of the association. The bylaws, internal regulations, and legal documents are already ready and reviewed. We are in the formal incorporation phase: the association will be fully operational very shortly.
WHAT CHANGES FOR OUR READERS
The most concrete thing that will change is how the relationship between you and La Malagazzetta works. To support the association, membership will be required, so that you can freely access all sections of the website and actively participate in all the initiatives and contests proposed for our members! With the establishment of the association, we have also decided to ask for a very small contribution for the PDF version of the magazine as well, which will only be available for purchase if you have an active membership. Don't want to become a member? No problem! La Malagazzetta is also distributed through "less official" channels than this one, and you can still purchase our print version from the Amazon website as always!

That's right — joining the Malagazzetta APS association costs just €2! With this "supporter" type of membership you will receive as a gift the PDF of one issue of Malagazzetta of your choice (from issue 11 onwards) and you will be able to access the official association merchandise shop and the contests proposed by the editorial team. Want to do more for Malagazzetta? Sign up as a "Reader" or "Collector" — the subscriptions reserved for members that include the cost of the membership card and many other benefits.
Reader (€5/year) — The complete digital subscription. All issues of the magazine in PDF released throughout the entire membership year plus all back issues! Also included is access to merchandise, the members download section. You will be able to enter contests with exclusive prizes and participation in the Malagazzetta Eternal Chronicles campaign is included.
Collector (€50/year) — For those who don't want to miss a thing. All issues in digital format, all issues in print shipped to your home, plus an exclusive limited-edition metal miniature reserved for members of this tier.
All memberships last 365 days from the date of registration, not from the start of the calendar year. Someone who joins in October expires in October of the following year — without missing a single issue.
ASSOCIATION GOALS
Once you become a member, you will be part of the warband in every sense. And what can a respectable damned soul do, if not gather wyrdstone to make a name for themselves? We have come up with something to make the community's collective contribution visible, so that everyone can understand in real time how the project is progressing.
The association's goals.
Every membership, every purchase, every participation in an event generates an amount of Wyrdstone — a symbolic indicator, inspired by the very essence of the game we love, that represents the association's contribution to the shared project. On the website you will find a progress bar showing in real time how much Wyrdstone has been collected.
The first threshold to reach is the most important: covering the association's fixed costs for the current year. When that threshold is reached, the warband is safe. From that point on, every additional unit of Wyrdstone unlocks concrete goals for the community — additional content, exclusive scenarios, funded events, materials that we would otherwise be unable to produce. Wyrdstone has no monetary value, it cannot be converted into money, it is not a discount voucher. It is simply the way this community watches itself grow. We are starting small, but together with you we can truly dream big.
HOW AND WHEN
How and when: the association is already a reality! The members of the original editorial team have signed the bylaws, and within the next 30 days it will be filed to make everything official. In the meantime, you can: Read the Bylaws and Internal Regulations already available on the website, consult the updated Terms and Conditions, write to malagazzetta@hotmail.com for any questions. Memberships are already available for activation, just in time for the release of issue 11 of Malagazzetta. Join our warband of the damned, and help us keep this project alive.
